The Oklahoma City Thunder must sign two-way player Moses Brown to a multi-year deal plus suspended Austin Rivers.
The Thunder got the announcements near publicity on Sunday.
Brown, a 7-foot-1 heart who is in his second year, has developed this month. In Saturday’s game against Boston, he had a career-high 21 points and tied a Crack record with 23 rebounds. In his last nine sports, he’s averaging 12.4 points and 12.3 rebounds while shooting 61% from the sector.
Oklahoma City announced Saturday that veteran center Al Horford would be inactive for the remainder of the season, opening the door for Brown to require over the position.
The Thunder originally signed Brown to a two-way acceptance Dec. 2020, next he spent the preceding season as a two-way player for the Portland Trail Blazers. Thunder guard Lu Dort is in shock protocol after he supported a concussion Saturday against Boston.
Dort will begin the NBA-mandated Return-to-Participation Protocol. the method includes a series of steps designed to make sure an athlete exhibits symptom-free behavior before resuming basketball activities. there's no timetable for his return.
Dort averages 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.
